Mumbai, April 16 - The box office monster KGF Chapter 2 recorded the highest ever opening in Hindi belts by collecting 53.95cr on its opening day. The film smashed all records in all centers on day one.
The film has held supremely well on day 2 and collected a whopping 46.79cr. This will take the two days collections of the film to over 100cr mark, becoming the only film to achieve 100cr collections within 2 days.
The first two days of the film will be among the highest single days ever recorded in the Hindi version with day one being the highest of all time.
Today again will be a big day at the box office for this monster of a film but one can expect a drop in collections as the film is coming after two consecutive holidays. KGF Chapter 2 will create an all-time weekend record today and the weekend total is likely to be around 185 crores
